Manchester United stars have been told to avoid swapping shirts after matches, according to reports.
The Red Devils squad have been given a ration of two short-sleeved and two long-sleeved jerseys for the season, in an effort to cut down on costs.
This is despite the club paying players such as Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic £100,000s a week.
According to The Sun, the club aren’t keen on having to replace the shirts every time that someone decides to swap with the opposition or even give one to fans.
This could peeve the squad, after they won the first three Premier League games of the season.
New manager Jose Mourinho has guided the team to victories over Bournemouth, Southampton, and Hull City, but his toughest tests are yet to come.
United face local rivals Manchester City when they return from the international break, with the Portuguese coming up against old nemesis Pep Guardiola.
With both teams going for the top flight title it is sure to be a fiercely contested match, and the players are unlikely to be worrying too much about the new shirt rule in the aftermath.
