Popular Ghanaian Actor, Kofi Middleton Mends Dies Of Kidney Failure

Veteran actor, Kofi Middleton Mends has been reported dead after he lost the battle to kidney failure.

The Ghanaian actor who is popular for his catch phrase, “Sarah, my socks” and television commercial for Key Soap, died in the evening of Tuesday, August 16, 2016.

A daughter to the deceased confirmed his death in the morning of Wednesday, August 17, 2016.

Mends who turned 77 in June was married with three surviving children.

He was a lecturer at the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) and the University of Ghana although he stopped lecturing about two years ago.

His role in Grey Dawn (2015) and No Tears for Ananse(1968) stood him out in his career as an actor.
