The Naira on Friday depreciated at the parallel market, exchanging at N345 to the dollar, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
The Nigerian currency shed N10 to close at N345, from N335 it closed on Wednesday, representing a depreciation of 2.9 per cent.
The Naira also traded at N385 to the Euro at the parallel market.
At the Interbank window, the naira closed on a negative note at N281.14 to the dollar.
Traders at the parallel segment of the market said they could not put a price on the Pound Sterling because of the Brexit referendum, which led to the resignation of the British Prime Minister, David Cameron.
NAN reports that several assurances by Cameron on the strength of the British economy could not sustain the confidence of traders and financial analyst as uncertainties loom against it.
