The Niger Delta Avengers has denied reaching a truce with the Federal Government.
In a tweet on its Twitter handle on Tuesday, the Niger Delta Avengers denied any ceasefire agreement with the government.
Credible news medium, Reuters, had quoted a senior government official as saying the Avengers had agreed to a ceasefire of one month with the Federal Government negotiation team.
But the Avengers said in the Tweet on Tuesday: “The NDA High Command never remember having any agreement on ceasefire with the Nigeria Government.”
