He was shown hitting the victim while she was cowering in the trunk in Cangzhou city, Hebei province, China.
She was desperately trying to fight him off but he proved to be too strong and eventually overpowered her.
Several people were shown standing around looking concerned but did nothing to stop the attack.
The most they could muster was shouting out ‘don’t hit her’.
The video, published by Weibo Media yesterday, ended with the man closing the trunk and then getting into the driver’s seat.
