Kannywood actress Rahama Sadau has been unveiled as the brand ambassador of Medicaid, a cancer foundation based in Abuja Nigeria.
Sadau received the endorsement by the organisation last week.
According to a representative of the group, Amanato Amanato, Sadau was honoured for her contributions towards having a cancer free society.
“Rahama Sadau has been a giant in the advocacy fight and creating awareness against cancer particularly in Northern Nigeria,” Amanato said.
Sadau thanked the foundation and promised to keep up the advocacy.
“I have been engaged in various advocacy work to communities in Northern Nigeria on cancer, especially breast cancer. I thank Medicaid for the recognition,” she said.
Sadau will remain Medicaid ambassador till April 2017.
