Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase,has ordered a probe into the killing of over 30 people at Ukpabi, Nimbo in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State,where suspected Fulani herdsmen struck on Monday morning.
Arase also, ordered the immediate arrest and detention of a police corporal Identified as Chukwu attached at Adani Division headquarters over his role in the ugly incident.
He disclosed that he has zero tolerance for any police officer that connived with criminals to commit crime.
“I have already ordered that he be put in custody till the investigation is over. It is alleged that he connived with the people that carried out the attack. I must make sure that he gets out of the Nigerian Police Force.”
