The All Progressives Congress has raised the alarm over the alleged killing of a Major in the Nigerian Army and three others.
The party said the four soldiers were killed on Thursday in Rivers State.
A terse statement by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Chris Finebone, said the soldiers were killed in Abonnema, Akuku-Toru Local Government Area of the state on Thursday afternoon by unknown gunmen.
Finebone said the details of the killing remained sketchy at the time of the report.
He promised that the Rivers State chapter of the APC will make the details public as soon as they are available to it.
The report is coming ahead of Saturday rerun polls in the state.
