A man in China has escaped death by the whiskers after his wife plunged a meat cleaver into his head because she caught him having sex with his lover.
According to the police in Beijing, the unidentified woman has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
The husband was conscious as he was transported to the hospital with the meat cleaver still lodged in his head. People at the hospital who were surprised to see him still alive, recorded videos and uploaded them to the internet.
The man is seen speaking and fully conscious with the meat cleaver lodged in his skull in the some of the videos.
His wife, during questioning by the police, admitted to plunging a meat cleaver into her husband’s head because she caught him having sex with his lover.
