A group of Lagos High court Sheriffs, Friday, stormed the Omole Phase 1 home of Nigerian singing duo, Psquare, with a court order to seal the property.
Reports say the Okoye brothers Paul, Peter and Jude Okoye were allegedly paid over N8m in January, to perform at a show but the music duo failed to turn up.
Witnesses say the sheriffs were denied entry but they forced their way in injuringone of the security guards.
One of the brothers, Paul, was later seen driving into the house around 11:10am.
According to Lindaikeji, a source revealed that, about 8 to 9 years ago the Psquare brothers were paid about N1m for a show in Benin. Psquare arrived the venue on the agreed date for the show but unfortunately the show was postponed to the next day and they refused to stay as they returned to Lagos. The organizer of the show demanded for his money but they are yet to refund the money and the case has been in court since.
Meanwhile, one of the singing duo, Paul has asked their teeming fan to ignore all the speculations.
He said:
“Pls ignore the rumours that our house is on fire. People sha… GODforbid, there was a situation in our Neighborhood early dis morning and iour attention was needed and my People called me as early as5am. So I had to drive frm island to intervene. From #Paulokoye rudeboysquare.”
The brothers have been at war among themselves with Peter calling out on their elder brother who doubles as their producer and manager. There have been allegations and counter allegations with Paul taking side with their elder brother Jude.
