Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), may have quizzed a retired naval chief, Alison Madueke, over alleged corruption.
According to top officials of the EFCC, Madueke, who is the husband of a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani, Alison Madueke, was arrested and later granted administrative bail.
It was learnt that his passport was allegedly taken, to ensure that he is available for further investigation.
It was difficult to establish a link between the development and the ongoing investigation of the ex-Petroleum Minister by the United Kingdom (UK) anti-crime agency.
Reports, however, alleged that Madueke may answer questions on an allegation of money laundering running into hundreds of thousands of dollars.
