Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have seen their FIFA transfer bans suspended, so expect a huge summer spending spree.
The two Spanish giants had been barred from signing any new players over the next two transfer sessions, so the summer of 2016 and January 2017.
However, today FIFA accepted an appeal to delay the ban until January 2017.
That means Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid will likely pack a year’s worth of transfer activity into one summer.
It could have big repercussions for Serie A sides and their transfer targets, such as Alvaro Morata and Paul Pogba at Juventus.
