Olisa Metuh, spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was handcuffed to the federal high court in Abuja on Tuesday. The PDP spokesman, who was remanded in Kuje prison on Friday, was guarded by officials of the Nigerian prisons service.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Metuh before the court on seven count charges of breach of public trust, corrupt acquisition of public funds and money laundering to the tune of N400m. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
