President Muhammadu Buhari, Wednesday, said he has no idea about the ban on withdrawal of foreign currency by Nigerians.
There have been uproar among Nigerians, especially Nigerian students schooling abroad over the federal government’s decision to ban its citizens from making withdrawals from their foreign account.
Reacting to the development at the Presidential Media Chat on Wednesday, Buhari said the question should be channeled to the Central Bank Governor, who he said was in a better position to react to that.
“I don’t know anything about it. May be the question should be directed to the CBN governor. I think he’s in the better position to answer that,” President Buhari said.
