The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted hazy weather conditions over the central states of the country on Sunday.
The prediction is contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Saturday in Abuja.
It said that there would be visibility range of 2-5km and prospects of localised visibility of less than or equal to 1,000m in some areas of the region later in the day.
NiMet predicted that the coastal areas would experience hazy conditions in the morning with visibility of 2-5km later in the day.
It also predicted that inland areas would experience dust haze conditions with visibility of 2-5km and localised visibility of less than 1,000m over some areas throughout the forecast period.
NiMet predicted that the Northern states would experience dusty and hazy conditions with visibility of between 1km and 2km during the forecast period.
