No fewer than 50 members of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign States of Biafra (MASSOB) have been arrested and detained at the state police command Owerri.
The state Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Andrew Enwerem, disclosed this to Daily Trust in Owerri that the pro-Biafra separatists arrested were 31.
He said 10 out of the numbers detained were arrested last week Friday during the nationwide protest embarked by the group under the aegis of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) while the rest 21 officials of the members were arrested on Monday
