The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted partly cloudy weather conditions over the central states of the country on Thursday morning.
The predictions are contained in the Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Wednesday in Abuja.
It said that there would be sunny conditions in Kaduna, Jos and Yola axis and partly cloudy conditions over the other parts of the region in the afternoon and evening hours.
NiMet predicted that the coastal areas would experience cloudy morning over the South-West with localised rains over the South-East and localised thunderstorms over the entire region in the afternoon and evening hours.
It also predicted that inland areas would experience cloudy morning with localised thunderstorms over the southern cities and cloudy conditions over the northern cities in the afternoon and evening hours.
NiMet predicted that Northern states would experience hazy conditions with visibility range of 3kms to 5kms over the entire region during the forecast period.
