Operatives of the Department of State Services who reportedly raided the Abuja residence of a paramount ruler in Bayelsa State, King A. J Turner on Monday, have refused to speak on the incident.
Turner is said to be a close friend of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
It was not clear why the house was raided as no explanation had been made by either the victim or the operatives.
It was however gathered that some documents could have been removed from the residence.
When our correspondent visited the house located in Maitama District on Tuesday, there was no one who was ready to volunteer information about the incident.
It was learnt that the traditional ruler was in Bayelsa State when the raid was carried out.
It was also difficult to get the reaction of the Service as it has yet to appoint a spokesperson.
