Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George, has said that National Chairman of the party, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, must resign from the position before 2023 general election.
Speaking in Rivers state on Thursday September 1, George said it’s unfair for the National Chairman, Presidential candidate and Chairman BoT of the PDP to be from the same zone.
Stressing that it is not right for the opposition party to go for the general election a divided house, George stated that what Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state is asking for is the right thing, and also in the interest of justice, peace and unity of the party.
