Friends of the doctor, Megafu Chinelo, who died in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack have alleged that the young lady had resigned and was planning to leave the country.
Recall that Naija News earlier reported that suspected terrorists had detonated a bomb which affected the Abuja-Kaduna rail track on Monday.
Reports reaching Naija News have stated that two cleaners and workers of the attacked Abuja-Kaduna train identified as Loretta and Abdul, reportedly lost their lives during the unfortunate incident and their body have been deposited in the at St. Gerald’s Catholic Hospital in Kaduna.
Chinelo had taken to her Twitter attack shortly after the attack at 9:43pm and had asked Nigerians to pray for her
She wrote: “I’m in the train. I have been shot please pray for me.”
A friend of the deceased reacting to the incident has alleged via Facebook that Chinelo had resigned the month before and was about to relocate from the country.
“She resigned last month to leave the country this Friday then this happened. Nigeria why???”
Speaking to SaharaReporters, another friend of the deceased said, “Yes, it’s true, though I don’t know when she was meant to leave. May her soul Rest In Peace.”
