Former Governor of Imo State Rochas Okorocha has been captured after he returned the Royal Palm Estate fixed by the State Government.
Imo Government on Friday had regained the Royal Palm Estate along Akachi street.
The capture, as indicated by the group drove by Commissioner for Lands, Enyinnaya Onuegbu, was consistent with the mandate of the Imo State periodical on the report of the Judicial Commission of Enquiry on the recuperation of Lands and another related issue.
However, Okorocha dared Governor Hope Uzodimma’s directive and broke the locks to recover the estate belonging to his wife, Nkechi.
The ex-governor, who was accompanied by his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, was attacked by loyalists to Governor Uzodimma.
