Benue Speaker, Son Test Positive For COVID-19

The Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly, Titus Uba and his last son have tested positive for COVID-19.

This was disclosed by the chief press secretary to the Speaker, Lubiem Tiav on Monday, July 20, 2020.

Tiav disclosed that he Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, had taken samples from Uba and four other assembly members for tests.

He added that arrangements are being made to get all members and staff of Benue state assembly tested.

Tiav advised all who may have come in contact with the speaker within the last week to get tested.
