The third flight of intending Pilgrims from Lagos state has departed for Prince Mohammed Bn Abdul-Aziz International Airport in Medina with 317 Pilgrims on board Med-View Airline’s Boeing 777 aircraft.
With the third batch departing on Saturday evening at around 4:38 pm, no fewer than 954 including officials have been airlifted to Saudi Arabia since Wednesday morning when the airlift from Lagos commenced.
Med-View Airline is expected to airlift 2050 Lagos Pilgrims in seven flights, it was learnt.
The pilgrims were being airlifted according to their local governments in alphabetical order.
Those who made the third batch today were Hujjaj (Pilgrims) from Badagry/Ojo, Epe and Eti-Osa pilgrims.
