The Taraba State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has arrested Adamu Bello for allegedly abducting two children.
The state commandant of the NSCDC, Mr. Kamilu Isah, who disclosed this yesterday in Jalingo while briefing journalists, said the suspect was arrested with two kids in Angwan Yandan area of Jalingo.
He said, “The suspect has been in this business of abducting and selling of children for quite a long time. Our preliminary investigations revealed that Adamu Bello was a specialist in this ugly act”.
He added that the suspect admitted to have committed the crime, saying that Adamu further disclosed his past transanctions during interrogation.
He added that the suspect would be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded.
He urged parents and caregivers to keep watch on their children and peers to guard against the unfortunate act.
