Osoba justifies APC defection

Former governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, Tuesday justified his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying he only took a leave of absence from the party.

Osoba, who ‎spoke in Abeokuta during the public presentation of a book written by foremost politician and influential businessman, Chief Alani Bankole, also disclosed that ‎the Alake of Egbaland, Oba

Adedotun Gbadebo, and Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, played
key roles in his return to APC.‎

The book titled “Alake of Egbaland: The Succession Dynamics” was formally presented at an event attended by former House of Representatives Speaker, Dimeji Bankole; former Ogun State Deputy Governor, Alhaja Salmot Badru; former Minister of Mines and Steel
Development, Alhaji Sarafa Isola; and former Minister of State for Agriculture, Chief Najeem Awodele.
