Minister of Power, Works and Housing Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has assured of the Federal Government’s commitment of adequate steady power supply across the country.
The minister also ordered that all customers under credited advance payment for metering are metered without further delay.
Fashola stated this in a communique issued Monday,at the end of 3rd monthly sectoral meeting of operators in the electricity industry, held at Ugwuaji Transmission Station, Enugu.
Arising from the decision at the previous meetings,on public engagement,the communique resolved to reinvigorate their efforts towards customer engagement through the launch of customer care units,for adequate resolution of power sectors issues in line with the standard set up by NERC.
