A maid in the United Arab Emirates has been arrested for using her urine to cook food for her employer’s family.
According reports from Khor Fakkan police, the maid was arrested after her employer discovered bottles of urine in her bedroom.
The family became suspicious of the maid after they noticed a pungent odor always oozed from food prepared by the maid.
They went into her bedroom one day in search of answers and they found bottles containing a liquid that looked like urine.
The bottles were sent to a forensic laboratory where it was confirmed that the liquid was indeed human urine.
The maid whose names have been withheld told police in her confession that she added urine to the food in order to control the family.
The maid was charged with one count of lice endangerment.
