Woman jailed after framing ex-lover for 130 fake crimes including rape

A stalker filed more than 130 false police reports against her ex-lover for crimes including rape and acid attacks.

Sandra Danevska, a 38-year-old nanny who worked in Hammersmith, west London, implicated a man she dated more than 10 years previously in a string of crimes which led to police to come to his home 42 times.

Among the fictitious claims levelled against the 45-year-old were rape and acid attacks. Danevska used the details of 60 other people to implicate her former lover, and subjected two women who had dated the man to online campaigns described as ‘threatening and traumatic’.

At Isleworth Crown Court Danevska was found guilty of three counts of stalking involving serious alarm or distress and two counts of perverting the course of justice.

She was jailed for five years on Friday, and handed a restraining order.

‘This woman’s actions caused her victims unimaginable distress and the sentence reflects the serious nature of her offending,’ said Detective Constable Dean Puzey.

‘Danevska stalked multiple victims and used social media and the police crime reporting system to make their lives intolerable.

‘Her ex-boyfriend, an entirely innocent man, found himself a suspect for rape, stabbings and acid attacks – the impact on his life in particular was horrendous.’
