Police Nab Suspected Killer Of Bayelsa APC Stalwart

Bayelsa State Police Command has apprehended a man suspected to have murdered an All Progressives Congress stalwart in the state, Mr. Andrew June.

The suspect, Promise Menshak, is believed to have committed the act which led to Mr. Andrew’s death in Ekeremor Local Government Area of the state.

Confirming the arrest, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Butswat  said the suspect was helping the police in their investigations which is stll ongoing.

Also, 17 other persons including a Peoples Democratic Party bigwig in the state, Chief Alex Ekiotenne have been invited for questioning by the command in relation to the police investigations into Andrew’s death.

The deceased was attacked on November 11 alongside others by some unidentified men when he was returning from Ekeremor, where he had gone to attend an APC governorship campaign rally.
