Max Air Leaves Passengers Stranded In Lagos

Some passengers of Max Air Nigeria, have cried out after they were left stranded on Saturday at Lagos MM2 Airport for over five hours without any explanations or apologies.

Many of the passengers slept on chairs and the floor of the airport as the ground staff and officials of the regulatory bodies – FAAN and NCAA – abandoned the passengers.

The flight on Saturday 21st August 2021 which was first scheduled for 5.20 pm was moved to 7.50 pm and three times later up to 11.45 pm when the airline stopped any public announcements of movements.

As at 1.30am, the passengers were still at the airport unattended. With the curfew imposed in Lagos, many of the passengers could not leave the airport.
