Legend Taste & Tell Headline Artiste Shines In Benin

Consumers had a spectacular night experience recently when the Legend Extra Stout Taste and Tell train berthed in Benin as popular music Act, May D headlined the array of entertainers. The ‘Ile Ijo’ crooner who dished out hit songs from his repertoire left fans screaming in jubilation. He did some of his hit songs like “Gat me high”, and his latest single “Aleyi A Bad” to the admiration of the crowd.

Prior to the outing, the Comfam Entertainment boss, had sent a message to his fans in the city via his twitter handle inviting them to come have fun that night. The music artiste who was accorded a rousing welcome by the charged crowd kept them dancing and singing for a considerable period at the event.

To add to the fun, an upcoming rap artiste, BMG was on hand to thrill the crowd that had trooped to Museum field, venue of the event. A medley of popular songs from prominent singers like Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Tu Pac and Eminem were all he needed to spur on the crowd to frenzied dance.

Similarly, the Aihinomwen cultural troupe added a spark to the night fun with a performance of the Izobobo dance. The dance performed was specifically to extol the distinctive quality of Legend Extra Stout. According to the group leader, Natty Ehigiamusoe, Legend Extra Stout has been a proud supporter and promoter of culture. He said his group was there to show solidarity to a brand that has always supported the culture of Benin people.

Some of the fun seekers at the venue were impressed with the quality of entertainment on offer. Andrew Okorodion, a 400 level Theatre Arts Student at the University of Benin who said he accompanied his friend to the event admitted it was worth the time. “When my friend invited me to this event, I initially did not want to come but he persuaded me. I can tell you I don’t have any regret attending this event. I’m enjoying myself and having fun. I came here specifically to watch May D perform and I was quite impressed. It’s cool. I don’t think I would have preferred to be anywhere else”, he said.

Apart from the musical entertainment, Legend Extra Stout gave out valuable prizes to winners at the Taste and Tell challenge. The challenge involves participants tasting three different stout brands from three unmarked glasses to identify which one contains Legend Extra Stout. Three winners emerged from the challenge. The big winner for the night Augustine Daniels, a Production Manager with a table water firm went away with a generator while Ehigiamusoe Itohan, a business woman and Idugboe Samuel, a 400 level student of Theatre Arts from the University of Benin won a refrigerator and a television set respectively.
