The Police in the Federal Capital Territory is searching for the abductors of a prince of Igala in Kogi, Frederick Adejoh.

The assailants invaded the Tungan Maje community along Zuba-Gwagwalada highway on Thursday.

They also kidnapped Friday Sani Makama, a former member of the Kogi House of Assembly and others.

“The armed men shot sporadically into the air to scare away the security men on guard before kidnapping the hotel owner and guests”, a security source told PRNigeria.

The FCT Police spokesperson, Mariam Yusuf said operatives are on the trail of the gunmen who struck on Thursday.

The manhunt is being conducted by the command’s special squad.
