How I Narrowly Escaped Being Killed By Bandits — Edo Senator

Senator Clifford Ordia, representing Edo Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has narrated how he escaped suspected bandits’ attack on his convoy along the Okene-Lokoja-Abuja road on Monday.

Ordia, who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts said he was attacked twice by the criminals on the same day.

The 60-year-old told newsmen in Abuja that he narrowly escaped death when the suspected bandits opened fire on his convoy, while returning to Abuja from his hometown in Edo State.

According to him, during the exchange of gun fire between the criminals and security officers attached to him, three policemen sustained bullet wounds.

The Senator added that one of the wounded policemen is in a critical condition, but responding to treatment in one of the hospitals in Abuja.
