Faleke picks Audu’s son as running mate, vows to defend mandate

The Deputy Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the inconclusive Kogi State governorship election, James Abiodun Faleke, has picked Muhammedu, the son late Prince Abubakar Audu, as his running mate.

Faleke announced the choice of Muhammedu on Monday just as he vowed to defend the mandate of late Audu.

Faleke spoke at Audu’s house in GRA, Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.
He said Audu’s mandate had robbed off positively on him.

Muhammedu and several other Igala leaders at the meeting vowed to stop at nothing to reclaim the mandate that they said was momentarily truncated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, which declared the election inconclusive.
