Facebook training will not cost Senate a kobo – Saraki

The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has responded to the concern in some quarters that the Facebook training for Senators is a needless waste of public funds by clarifying on Twitter that the Senate will not be spending a dime for the exercise.

A social media interaction which took place on Friday saw Saraki explaining that he approved the training for senators and their aides because it was absolutely free.

A citizen, Adesoji Gabriel had asked “@bukolasaraki pls how much is that going to cost the @NGRSenate?” to which Saraki responded: “Not a single kobo”.
