#EndSARS: Obaseki ease curfew in Edo

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has assessed the 24-hour time limitation prior forced on the state on Monday to subdue common unsettling influences in the wake of the commandeer of #ENDSARS fights.

The time limit is currently to begin from 4pm to 6am every day, beginning from Friday, October 23, and would be looked into following 72 hours.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Crusoe Osagie, affirmed this in an announcement while asking inhabitants of the state to stick carefully to the new mandate.

Osagie consoled Edo inhabitants that the Obaseki-drove organization stays focused on the security of lives and property.

He further enjoined Edo people to go about their normal businesses and return home before the kick-off of the curfew.

There have been reports of widespread arson and violence in the past few days as rampaging hoodlums looted, razed and destroyed public and private assets around the country, especially in Lagos, Abuja, Benin, amongst others.
