Real Madrid recovered from their mid-week goalless draw to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League to record a perfect start in the La Liga.

Los Blancos defeated second place Celta Vigo 3-1 away to seal their sixth La Liga win in 9 matches and go top of the log.

The Rafa Benitez men opened scoring with an 8th min Cristiano Ronaldo goal from a Lucas Vazquez assist. Real Madrid who welcomed Luka Modric back to the squad after time on the sidelines added a second in the 23rd min of the encounter from a Danilo goal.
