Biafra activists take over Enugu metropolis

Hundreds of Pro-Biafra activists stormed the streets of Enugu State Sunday morning, protesting the detention of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

The protesters, who were marching through major streets in Enugu metropolis, as at the time of filling this report, were also demanding urgent recognition of the Sovereign State of Biafra.

Chanting anti-Federal government slogans, they declared their opposition to the incarceration of the IPOB leader.

They said that they would not relent in their agitation for the actualization of Biafra.

They were, however, peaceful as motorists were allowed to ply without any confrontation.
