A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has noted that the world is currently laughing at Nigeria over the actions of the country’s leaders.
Eze further slammed those hailing President Bola Tinubu despite the current situation of things in the country, especially in the area of insecurity.
News360 Info reports that the United States of America has beamed its light on the security situation in Nigeria and has recently accused leaders in Nigeria of folding their hands and watching while jihadist groups massacre Christians across the nation.
While some have expressed deep regret, condemning the genocide, others seem to merely display sentiment, calling the bluff to the warnings of the American President, Donald Trump.
Eze called on leaders in the north, especially the Muslims to stand for the truth like one of their own, a former All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, who he noted has been vocal, making factual presentations of the matter.
Eze, a former Public Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party, nPDP, said the sincerity of Garba, should be a model for those in authority to tackle the menace of insecurity ravaging Nigeria.
“Adamu Garba, at a time when Tinubu and the Muslim fanatics choose to downplay the seriousness of the massacre and general insecurity in the country, resolved to stand out and speak the truth for the interest of justice. His courage is commendable,” Eze said in a statement in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
“Nigeria has lost touch with reality. The once giant of Africa has totally become a shadow of its former self. The least country in Africa is way better in virtually everything.
“And the world is laughing with scorn, yet the President Tinubu… feels less concerned,” he claimed.
The APC chieftain called on Donald Trump’s administration not to delay in taking the promised action since, according to him, the Nigerian government had failed to heed their warning to act swiftly.
