Former Senate President Ahmed Lawan has refuted claims that President Bola Tinubu is to blame for the difficulties and hardships Nigerians are currently experiencing due to the nation’s current economic situation.
Reports alleging the former Senate President made anti-Tinubu remarks are nothing more than hurtful and polarizing lies, he added.
In a statement made available to reporters on Monday, Lawan’s media adviser, Ezrel Tabiowo, claimed that claims that he had made remarks critical of President Tinubu’s administration were a blatant lie intended by thugs to sow discord and instability among the populace.
