President Bola Tinubu has received advice not to declare a state of emergency in Rivers State from Adolphus Wabara, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT).
Wabara warned the president about giving in to the takeover of the state by power-hungry anti-democratic forces.
The party, according to the former Senate President, will not permit Rivers State to declare a state of emergency.
He said that Nigeria would perish if anyone tried to meddle with Fubara.
