You Were Appointed To Serve Nigeria, Not Katsina People – Wike Tells New FCTA Appointee

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has admonished the new secretary of the Federal Capital Territory Authority (FCTA), Social Development Secretariat, Ibrahim Aminu not to focus on his home state of Katsina alone.
Wike urged him to realize that his service is to Nigerians and not just the people of Katsina.

The Minister urged Aminu to shun all forms of ethnicity and bias in the discharge of his official functions and key into the ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’ of President Bola Tinubu.

Wike explained that the advice is not limited to Aminu alone but to all appointees in the FCT.

“Nigerians have lost hope, hence the need for the renewed hope agenda of Mr. President.

You must not serve only people from Katsina, but all Nigerians. Bear in mind that in the end you will be held accountable. Nigerians are tired of getting excuses all the time,” Wike said as quoted by The Nation.
