INEC: ‘Jail Loading For Many’ – Melaye Raises Alarm Over Imputing Of Wrong Figures In BVAS

The spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council, Dino Melaye, has accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of imputing wrong figures while transferring results to the backend server.

Recall that the electoral umpire recently obtained an order from the Court to reconfigure the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, for the March 18 gubernatorial election.

In a post via Twitter, Melaye said INEC is currently engaging in a wrong act that will lead many people to jail.

According to him, PDP would expose any wrong imputation and change in figures by the commission as it transfers election results to the backend server.

The former lawmaker added that his party would shock INEC and its ICT department.

He tweeted: “INEC is doing the wrong thing, wrong imputation going on. We will expose any wrong imputation and figures changing as upload and backend transfer is going on. We will shock INEC and the ICT department. Jail loading for many.”

Recall that PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, was defeated by his counterpart from the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, in the February 25th election.

Atiku came second behind the former Governor of Lagos State with Peter Obi of the Labour Party coming third in the poll.

Taking to his microblogging page on Tuesday to react to Wike’s recent bragging, Melaye said the G5 governors were not relevant in the just concluded elections.

Melaye who was the spokesperson for the PDP Presidential Campaign Council for the February 25th election, warned Wike, asking the Rivers state governor to bury his head in shame, citing how some members of the G-5 failed in the election.

The Kogi State politician insisted that the G5 has no relevance in the just concluded presidential election.
