I Will Tell Wike I Saw You At Atiku Campaign Launch – Anyim ‘Threatens’ David Mark

The moment former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim made a humored remark over the attendance of his colleague, David Mark at the official inauguration of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council has surfaced on social media.

It was earlier reported that the PDP campaign council was inaugurated on Tuesday at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, with the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, in attendance with some of the party’s chieftains.

Amongst the attendees were Governors Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Diri Duoye (Bayelsa), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa); Darius Ishaku (Taraba), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta) and Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto).

The video sighted captured the moment Anyim jokingly threatened Mark about telling the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, that he saw the former Senate President at the event.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Naija News understands is angry over the manner of his loss to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at the presidential primary and the failure of the former Vice President to pick him as running mate.

Governor Wike and his camp have demanded the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, in order to resolve the party’s internal wranglings.

However, Ayu rejected the demand made by the Rivers governor, stressing that he will not resign from his position.

Following the tussle, other party chieftains sympathetic to the Wike’s camp stayed away from the International Conference Centre, Abuja venue of the inauguration today.
