A video has surfaced on the internet showing moment a female secondary school student is assaulted by her colleagues.

This is coming amid controversies surrounding the killing of a 12-year-old student of Dowen College, Sylvester Oromoni.

Parents of the said child had alleged that their son was bullied and fed with a chemical substance by his fellow students.

An uncle to the deceased, Perry Oromoni, had alleged in a post on his Twitter account that his cousin was killed after he rejected attempts by some students in the school to initiate him into a cult group.

He stated his cousin mentioned five names responsible for his injuries before his death, confessing that they tried blending him into a cult.

“This is my 12 years old cousin that was beaten to death at a school that cost over 1 million naira.

“Dowen college is a disgrace. He mentioned 5 names before passing yesterday… They tried to put him in cult, he refused and they killed him. Secondary school o,” he had said.

However, while Nigerians are still fuming over Oromoni’s alleged killing, a disturbing video now viral on social media has shown how a female student was beaten, stripped, and embarrassed by other students suspected to be her seniors.

The victim could be seen in the video shared on Instagram by popular Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, slapped several times and her shirt torn.

Edochie claimed in her post that the incident happened at the Federal Government Girls College, FGGC Owerri, in Imo State.

She wrote: “Happened at FGGC Owerri Imo State. A FEDERAL SCHOOL OOOOOOOO WHERE YOUR CHILD IS SUPPOSED TO BE SAFE.

“DON’T THEY HAVE THEIR TEACHERS, HOUSE MISTRESSES ? UNTIL THIS GIRL DROPS DEAD THE SCHOOL WILL NOW COME AND TELL STORIES. INFACT, SATAN HAS REALLY TAKEN OVER THE WORL.”
