Varsity Expels 3 Final Year Students For Allegedly Gang-r*ping A Fellow Student

Three students who were accused of gang-raping a student on campus have been expelled by the Rivers State College of Health Science and Management Technology .

The Nation reports that the affected students include Ferdinand Bruse Gospel, (EMT/17/096, Medical Technician), Chimgozirim Sunday (HIM/ 17/038, Health Information Management) and Nadum Sampson (DS/16/024, Dental Surgery Technician.

The Provost, Prof. Franklin Nlerum, said the expulsion of the three students followed due process as they were all given a fair hearing before the college decided to expel them.

However, one of the students, Chimgozirim Sunday, denied the allegation and accused the school management of violating their right to fair hearing.
