Babatunde Fowler, previous Chairman of the Federal Internal Revenue Service, FIRS, on Monday got back to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for additional scrutinizing.
Fowler was said to have detailed at the Lagos State office of the EFCC over FIRS’s contribution in supposed budgetary misappropriation during his residency.
The amount of N9.2bn from Lagos Inland Revenue Service and Alpha Beta was said to have been followed to Fowler’s own record.
Review that the EFCC had half a month prior welcomed Fowler for addressing over a N5bn extortion executed in the organization under his supervision.
