Actress Adaeze Eluke Accuse Celebrities Of Abandoning Protesters During Lekki Tollgate Shootings

Adaeze Eluke, a Nigerian actress have accused celebrities of abandoning #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Tollgate before the unfortunate incident happened.

On the 20th of October 2020, protesters and the world were left stunned as military men shot at unarmed Nigerians who had gathered at the Lekki Toll Plaza to demand an end to police brutality.

In reaction to the turn of events, Adaeze Eluke blamed her fellow celebrities over the deaths of #EndSARS protesters who were allegedly killed when gunshots were fired at the Lekki tollgate.

Taking to her Instagram page, she accused celebrities who were protesting at the Lekki toll gate of abandoning other protesters immediately after curfew was imposed in Lagos state.

The actress further stated that it was their fault that protesters were killed in the gun attack and described them as “bad leaders.”

She wondered why the celebrities left the Toll Plaza immediately the curfew was announced, but on getting home kept on instigating the public to remain on the street.

According to her, the actions of those celebrities were as criminal as the government.
