The Kogi State Government has finalize the plan for the distribution of a draw out magazine in indigenous dialects in the administration possessed Graphic Newspaper. Magistrate for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo guided administration of the paper to start a four-page magazine in the four indigenous dialects of Ebira, Igala, Yoruba and Hausa, saying the main version ought to be out by one week from now.

He gave the order while tending to the executives and staff of the Kogi State Newspaper Corporation at its office in Lokoja, on Monday. Fanwo said it is time Kogi started to secure her indigenous dialects.

“As a people, as the focal point of the country and as the wellspring of Nigeria, we can’t manage the cost of the disintegration of our way of life. Our age next must comprehend our dialects and be glad for them”.

To this end, we ask the Management of The Graphic to begin the distribution of a four-page pullout from one week from now, with each page devoted to every one of our principle dialects in the state.

Both the Managing Director of the Corporation, Pastor Dayo Thomas and the Editor, Mr James Oyewole guaranteed the Commissioner of the preparation of the Corporation to get together with the arrangement and guarantee the distribution of a befitting Unity Magazine.
