The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja has rejected the application of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to dismiss the petition of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Atiku Abubakar on the grounds of the exclusion of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in the petition.
In an unanimous decision, the five justices of the Tribunal panel said the application lacked merit and was therefore dismissed.
